Finally an update!

It has been about a year since I have posted on my blog. After a few art fairs with one being an epic failure, I decided to take some time off and just work on my art. So that is what I have been doing. I have expanded what I do making more styles of dogs.
This is my bulldog complete with an underbite.

Walk Me! He is begging for a walk with a leash in his mouth.

I have also created other animals. I did a commission piece for friends of their two cats.

One of my favorite pieces is this, which I titled Seafood Dinner. Even after death the cat still has hopes high for getting the catch of the day.

After creating a parrot for a gift I decided to make a cockatoo complete with feathers.

My wife found this tiny birdcage at a thrift store. I decorated it and made the tiny birds inside.

I also made smaller versions of favorite dawgs. They take up less shelf space and they have sold better at fairs. I am hoping to sell a lot more.

I came up with idea to make Calaveras, Day of the Dead Sugar Skulls. They are make out of the same material as the dawgs. Hand painted and bejeweled. To be honest, my wife is helping me with these since the animals take up so much of my time. Good thing she can do more than cook!

I am in a gallery show this Saturday. The theme is bully breed dogs so I will only be showing a few pieces. I hope you can attend.
